Care Fresno
Mentoring children in apartments.
Commitment: 1 hour a week, 2:30-5:30, 1 year.

Conduct phone interviews with people in need when they call the Help Line.

Individuals or families to visit lonely, elderly people in rest homes.

In need of 25 mentors for youth in group homes and for youth leaving Juvenile Hall.

Every Neighborhood Partnership
In need of volunteers to read to children, K-2nd grade, and do group mentoring with Saturday Sports.
Commitment: 1-2 hours, 1 day/week for a semester.

Juvenile Hall
Chaplains need volunteers to mentor youth leaving Juvenile Hall. Training is provided.

Fresno Police Chaplaincy
In need of volunteers to help with resiliency training for 1st grade children. Training is provided.

Child Evangelism Fellowship
Needs volunteers to serve in elementary after school clubs to introduce children to Jesus with a Bible lesson, scripture and songs.

Court Appointed Special Advocates (CASA)
Needs volunteers age 21 and older to offer support to children (ages 0-18 years) as they navigate the foster care system. Training is required.

Fresno Interdenominational Refugee Ministries (FIRM)
Needs volunteers to mentor refugees in our community.

Fresno Mission Academy and Rescue the Children
We have many serving opportunities available!
- Mentors – A mentor invests a minimum of one hour a week in to the life of another man or woman coming out of the lifestyle of addiction, gangs, and/or homelessness.
- Tutors – The Academy also needs tutors for the men studying for their GED. This is a one hour per week commitment.
