Come hear and see the vision of Centers for Living’s Sobering Center, Jonah’s Place, which is more than a shelter. It is more than a place for someone to sober up. It is a solution to one of Fresno County’s most significant public health and public safety challenges. Jonah’s Place is planned as a 100-bed, 24-hour stabilization facility that will provide medically monitored care for non-violent adults experiencing acute intoxication. Licensed nurses, behavioral health professionals, peer support specialists, and case managers will work together to stabilize each individual, prepare them, and offer hope for their next step toward recovery.
